About the Role:

As an ODP Anaesthetics professional at The Lincoln Hospital, you will play a crucial role in supporting the anaesthetist during surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include preparing the anaesthetic room, assisting with the induction and maintenance of anaesthesia, and monitoring the patient throughout the procedure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the anaesthetic room and equipment for surgical procedures
• Assist the anaesthetist with the induction and maintenance of anaesthesia
• Monitor the patient's vital signs throughout the procedure
• Ensure the safety and comfort of the patient at all times

The temporary ODP Anaesthetics position at The Lincoln Hospital will commence on 15th June 2026 and end on the same day. The shift will start at 07:30:00 and finish at 18:00:00, providing you with a full day of valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Requirements:

• Valid HCPC registration as an Operating Department Practitioner
• Proven experience in anaesthetic procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
