As a Surgical First Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the operating theatre, providing support to surgeons during surgical procedures. Your main responsibilities will include preparing the operating room, assisting with surgical instruments, and ensuring the safety and well-being of patients throughout the procedure.

Working closely with the surgical team, you will need to have a thorough understanding of surgical procedures and be able to anticipate the needs of the surgeon. Your attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure will be essential in ensuring the success of each operation.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to be able to work effectively as part of a team, as well as communicate clearly with patients and their families to provide reassurance and support.
